The origin of this reputation can be traced partly to the “Five Stars”. Coco Beach, Waikiki Beach,

Bikini Beach, Kakao Beach and Kontiki Beach are five ultra trendy beach restaurants that contribute

to the notoriety of the place through the popularity of the activities, festivities and memorable

evening events that they organize. Another special feature is the “Village” offering boutiques, hotels,

such as l’Alamanda and l’Esmeralda, themed restaurants and a number of services that make it a

place apart, entirely self-sufficient. Orient Bay is to some degree an “island within the island”.

It is also an important center for water sports, offering all the conditions required to satisfy the most fervent

enthusiasts of water-borne thrills. The activities found there are numerous. Sail boarding, jet skis, parasailing,

windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, diving and more. In addition, with its specialized clubs and resorts it is a

favorite destination for nudists. The most easterly end of the beach is entirely clothing optional.
