A 2-hour trail winds up through lush

vegetation to the top of the mountain.

But loterie farm also offers a few

surprises to delight your inner child.

How about this?

A zip-line circuit and the opportunity to rent a private cabana beside the pool where you can order

champagne and even get the massage of your choice. And if that is not enough, Loterie Farm has

its own restaurant, with excellent cuisine, renowned for its eco-friendly food. A candle light dinner

in a tropical forest to a background of chattering monkeys, bird-song and tree frogs... it would be

hard to find a more relaxing experience!

On the road that leads to the top of Pic Paradis, there is a small turning on the right that leads back

down into the valley. There you will find the Loterie Farm. This old sugar plantation was transformed

in 1999 into a private nature reserve thanks to the dedication and determination of B.J., William Welch

who literally fell in love with the place. Over a period of almost 10 years he has upgraded the site to turn

it into a miniature “nature paradise”.

His work has been amply rewarded because today this forest ecosystem is one of the most successfully

preserved natural areas of the region. Loterie Farm enjoys a microclimate specific to Pic Paradis and

is home to hundreds of vegetable and animal species that have practically disappeared from the rest

of the island. It is an extremely popular hiking area and perhaps the most beautiful on the island.
